All our entries are handled by an on-line entry supplier – Fabian4. If you have any entry queries you must contact them, not us: support@fabian4.co.uk

Event sold out and want an entry?

Many of our events are popular and sell out weeks and months before the event date.
It’s rare for any of our events to have ‘entries on the day’. Check the event webpage – it most likely says no EOD.

Why not simply enter early to avoid disappointment. You can cancel or transfer your entry later if you need to (see below for time-frames).
If the event is sold out and you want to get a place:

·         We do not have a waiting list system so don’t contact us or Fabian 4 about this. And don’t turn up on the day expecting a place. When it’s full – it’s full!

·         When someone cancels their place a space in the event becomes available automatically, so keep an eye on the entry system and you may get lucky.

·         If someone realises they can no longer make the event they may advertise on facebook (our page or the facebook event). You can also post here asking for any spare places. BEWARE – there are scammers out there who offer what they often call ‘tickets’ for our sold-out events. You can check if spaces are genuine by going to the event entry on Fabian4 and clicking ‘start list’ to see if the person is on the list and actually has a place to sell.

Cancellations
In most cases, you can cancel your entry up until 3 days before the event. After this we close the cancel/transfer window so we can download the data to set up registration lists and allocate chips/numbers ion the day.

·         If you cancel up to one month before the event you can get a full refund (minus Fabian4’s admin fee).

·         If you cancel up to 2 weeks before the event you can get a 50% refund (minus Fabian4’s admin fee).

·         If you cancel after 2 weeks before the event you get no refund…. but your place can become available for others looking for a place – also see ‘transfers’.


Transfers
You can transfer your entry up until 3 days before the event to another person. Only the original entrant can do this, not the person who the place is being transferred to. The original entrant needs the new person’s entry information: name, dob, gender, address, phone number, email, emergency name and number etc.
NOTE - you cannot transfer your place to another if you have cancelled your entry.
To transfer your place to another, go to Fabian4 and then to ‘amend entry’ (or amend class). When you entered you will have been sent an email by Faban4 – this will have any links you need to carry out the transaction. Otherwise just go to the website and look to find amend entry or contact Fabian4 for help.

Think you have a place but you’re not on the entry list? This does occasionally happen and it’s always down to ‘user error’. It’s the responsibility of the entrant to go through the whole process and pay for their entry on the Fabian4 platform. If you have successfully entered you will be on the 'start list'. Check there. Most people receive notifications from their bank that the money has gone out of their account – this is another way of knowing you have secured a place.
