Severn Bridge 5 Night Races 2024 

Our very popular 5 mile night races over the bridge and back return in 2024. Two at night in November and the usual twilight event in April.

Route Details

An officially measured 5 mile route on the pedestrian accessways on the 'old' Severn Bridge at night. You really can't get lost and the route is entirely on tarmac. It's generally well lit (but we recommend you use a torch to both make yourself more visible and to pick out features on the ground in one or two places).  

Weather: It varies - It can be wet and windy and so provide an added sense of adventure and challenge. Or it can be calm and still. Whatever the conditions we will hold the event - we will only cancel an event if the authorities close the bridge to traffic. 

Travelling to the race HQ: Access couldn't be simpler - just drive on main roads to the M48 motorway J2 (Chepstow end), then follow our signs to car park and event HQ.
